I trained as an industrial designer at the Delft University of Technology and this is where I learned to empathise, conceptualise, think in systems and develop attention to detail.
After graduation, I embarked on a career that involved entrepreneurship, experience design, brand activation and innovation strategy. I became interested in the strategic side of design and in what brands can do for organisations. How a brand can develop a shared purpose that connects employees and customers. How it can be a platform for visionary innovation. And how brands come alive in the orchestration of all touch points between an organisation and its customers.
I have led projects, both big and small, for companies such as Philips, O’Neill, Ebay and start-ups, and NGO’s, governments and charities. In projects I will challenge conventions and make sure we work towards a shared goal.
This holistic approach is what service design means to me and I am very happy to be part of a team that is so passionate, diverse and talented. At Livework we work at the intersection of business, people and creativity. And that is a beautiful place if you’re interested in creating more value in the world, like me.
