I have a multidisciplinary background in health systems strengthening with an MSc in Public Health & Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD on strengthening health systems using social enterprise from Leeds University Business School and Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development.
I work as an interim manager and consultant, mainly to health organisations and not for profit social enterprises and charities to plan and manage health system change. I have held Board level positions in the NHS and social enterprises in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, planning for and managing change for populations of up to 4 million. With Livework and in my Board roles, I have helped teams to develop strategies to redesign service delivery and implement major system changes in the health and care environment.
I strongly believe that service design offers a much-needed approach to contemporary health and care challenges. Livework service designers are an exciting and fun team to work with. They can help us to develop new ways of delivering care to people with complex needs.
