I was trained in industrial design engineering at the Delft University of Technology, which I have to thank for my work-ethic and hands-on approach. Whilst studying organisational science and entrepreneurship in the UK however, my interest in organisations began to grow, slowly moving me away from traditional design engineering.
Having found my niche, I did my graduate thesis on the topic of customer-organisation relationships whilst interning at Livework. This turned out to be a fruitful project — enhancing my expertise in designing for relationships in a service setting while simultaneously enabling Livework to push the boundaries of what service design is able to do.
Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.
