Beyond the dogmas of service design

Service designers, and other creative thinkers, think of themselves as open-minded and innovative. But are we really? Aren’t there quite some hidden dogmas, codes of conduct, stereotypes and bad habits in our work? And isn’t the whole service design discourse just a tad suffocating at times?

In this sometimes confronting session, Erik will look with you in the mirror and explore the role service design has had in the past 15 years. Using many examples and anecdotes from the trenches, he will challenge you and also himself to break the mould and embrace some new perspectives.
